Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi
After breakfast, drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. This journey will take you south west of Uganda. You will have a stop over at the equator for photographs and continue to Mbarara where you will have another stop for lunch and then proceed to reach Bwindi in the late afternoon. In the evening you may go for a community walk where you will be entertained in some of the cultural dance of the community. Dinner and overnight at the Gorilla resort / Buhoma community Bandas
Day 2: Gorilla tracking
After breakfast you will transfer to the park headquarters for the briefing by the park guides, before you set off for tracking. This may take 2-8 hours depending on the movement of the Apes. Dinner and overnight at as above
Day 3: Enroute to Kibale Forest
After breakfast you will drive to Fort. You will have lunch enroute. Dinner and overnight at the lodge
Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking
Have an early morning breakfast and drive to the park headquarters for the chimpanzee briefing by the forest guide. You will locate the chimps by listening for their pant-hooting calls, then hustle to the area from which they are calling. You will also see the Black and White Colobus monkeys; Black faced Red Colobus, Red Tailed Monkeys, Olive Baboons and an incredible array of bird life, including the Great Blue Turaco. Dinner and overnight at Ndali lodge, Rwenzori View Guest house/ Primate Lodge Cottages
Day 5: Return to Kampala
Take early morning breakfast while preparing to head back to Kampala
